Round 2: Weredragon

Round 2: Weredragon is the second stage from Altered Beast (third stage in the Famicom version). The Centurion becomes a Weredragon in this stage. Round 2 is set inside a dark and dank cavern filled with ravenous beasts.

Inside a dark and dank cave, you've begun the descent into the underworld. Now a barrage of even more loathsome creatures will be called on to attack you. But with the power of the spirit balls you'll take flight as flame-throwing Weredragon.

暗く、湿った洞窟だった。天上からは夜光シダが垂れ、下は、広大な湿原と化していた。水中から、シダの間から、敵が突然襲ってくる。油断がすぐ、死につながる。

Translation:
It was a dark and damp cave. Luminous vascular plants were hanged on the top, and the bottom turned into a vast swamp. Enemies suddenly attacked from underwater and between the plants. Getting caught off-guard would lead to death.

Translation:
You got down into a dark and damp cave, with luminous vascular plants hanging down from the top, while the bottom turned into a vast swamp. Suddenly enemies attacked from underwater and between the plants...
